Effective 1 January 2025
This document outlines the warranty coverage, installation requirements, and service conditions for SF6 gas-insulated switchgear, heavy-duty three-phase transformers, and surge arresters supplied by Littleoxfordelc.com. These terms apply to all medium-voltage power distribution equipment delivered after the effective date.
Each product carries a standard warranty that covers manufacturing defects and material failures under normal operating conditions. The warranty period begins on the date of delivery and applies to the original purchaser only.
To keep the warranty valid, all equipment must be installed and commissioned by a qualified electrical contractor following the manufacturer's technical manual. The installer must verify correct grounding, clearance, and environmental conditions before energising the unit.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper handling, unauthorised modifications, lightning strikes exceeding the arrester's rated discharge current, or operation outside the specified voltage and frequency range. Consumable items such as gaskets and desiccants are also excluded.
Littleoxfordelc.com provides remote technical support during business hours and can dispatch field service engineers for on-site diagnostics. Spare parts for all three product lines are stocked at the warehouse in Kharadi and can be shipped within two working days.
SF6 gas-insulated switchgear, heavy-duty three-phase transformers, and surge arresters designed to maintain power continuity under transient overvoltages and heavy industrial loads.
Hermetically sealed medium-voltage distribution with integrated disconnectors, earthing switches, and vacuum circuit breakers. No routine maintenance required.
Eliminates internal arc faultsOil-immersed, naturally cooled unit with grain-oriented silicon steel core and electrolytic copper windings. Equipped with Buchholz relay and pressure relief device.
Withstands fluctuating industrial loadsZinc-oxide varistor blocks clamp lightning and switching surges to safe levels. Porcelain housing with pressure relief system. Tested to IEC 60099-4 at 10 kA.
Dissipates high-energy transientsOn‑site evaluation of existing substation layout, load profile, and protection coordination. Delivers a documented upgrade path with bill of materials and single‑line diagram.
Reduces unplanned downtimeFull sequence of insulation resistance, turns ratio, sweep frequency response, and partial discharge measurements. Includes a signed test report and as‑built documentation.
